Outfit post: Chrissy

Hello everyone,
Chrissy here!
Today, I want to show you some of my newest outfits. I'm also planning a post on our mini-meet in January, but let's come to that later. My style has changed quite a bit during the last year, so I hope you're excited for my new outfits!
Let's begin with the oldest:

This was my outfit for New Year's Eve. I celebrated it with my best friend in Karlsruhe and I tried out a festive, yet cute style. Here is the rundown:
Necklace(invisible): Perlkönig
Dress: Honey Bunch
Ring: gifted by my girlfriend
Shoes: Esprit

Next up is an outfit which I tried for our mini-meet. I went for a classical, elegant style, inspired by EGOIST (hence the big hat). The rundown of what I'm wearing is here:
Hat: H&M
Necklace: Perlkönig
Dress: H&M
Coat: Max Mara Weekend
Shoes: Esprit
The last outfit which I'm showing you is from yesterday, when I went to the city with my girl and her best friend who is staying at our place. I wasn't feeling too well, so I bundled up a bit. Here's what I'm wearing:
Hat: Pimkie
Scarf: Newyorker
Dress: Cecil McBee
Boots: Oxmox

Hopefully you liked my outfits!
See you again soon.

Diamond Cats New Year's reunion meet!

Hello everyone,
Chrissy here!
Today I'm reporting you from the newest Diamond Cats meet which took place on the 2nd of January. Since I had spent Christmas in my hometown with my parents, I took the chance to meet my gals and we had a lot of fun.
First of all, Tammi and me went clothes and beauty shopping since Anki wanted to join us later. In the meantime, I found some fashionable new pants:
Aren't they cool? The damaged parts are even decorated with rhinestones, so they get a d.i.a.-like touch to them.
Finally when we had fetched Anki from the station, we went to our favorite Asian restaurant for lunchtime.
Picture time! Anki looks cute as always, doesn't she? Well, my hair had deflated at that time already so please don't mind it looking a bit messy, haha...
Grumpy Cat pose! The Grumpy Cat meme was a running gag throughout the whole day so Anki and Tammi couldn't resist to take a picture in the same style. Later we even created our own meme with it.
Making a toast on the reunion with Jasmine tea. It was very delicious, thank you very much for recommending it to us, Tammi!

While waiting for our food to arrive, we read Tammi's new "Cutie" magazine together. It was a lot of fun and we found many new pieces of inspiration, for example cute Creeper shoes, printed tights, ruffled skirts and many more things. What I personally liked was that the styles in the magazine were really suitable for everyday wear, so that you could even wear some of them to work or uni.
Anki totally rocked out those little devil horns of hers, they look so natural and fitting! Hopefully she's going to start a blog soon as well so we can see more of the cuteness!
Being the bloggers we all are, of course we had to take pictures of our sushi "boat". It was so huge but at the same time so delicious!

The whole boat!
We spent quite some time at the restaurant chatting, eating and having fun before we went to the city because Anki wanted to buy some shoes and Tammi wanted to have ice tea.
Anki at the shoe store with her newly acquired pair of Creepers- she looks incredibly happy, doesn't she? Who needs men when a woman can have shoes, haha! Later on, we went to "Accessorize" where they had a big sale. Also, it was...
 antlers time!
Double horn power by our two cuties, Tammi and Anki! I can't decide which horns I like more- Tammi's Christmas reindeer antlers or Anki's small devil horns. Well, let's say I think that both of them look great!
To end the day in an appropriate manner, we went to Starbucks and got ourselves some delicious coffee. Tammi and Anki had gingerbread-flavored latte whereas I enjoyed a vanilla latte.  As a little snack, we ate the Hello Kitty cakes Anki had brought us, which were very tasty by the way.
The day was filled with a lot of great moments which again made me realize how grateful I am to be a part of this wonderful circle. I couldn't imagine being without the girls for a long time, as I already missed them a lot even if I had been away for only three months. Hopefully they'll visit me in my new home one day and we can keep on going on like this forever.
Diamond Cats forever!

Small meeting- nail art special!

Hello lovelies!
Today, I want to tell you about our latest meet which was held last Sunday, when we visited our dear Anki at her house for a nail art session. Only recently she had bought some nail art stuff on the internet and of course all of us wanted to know how it works, so she kindly invited us over to her place to show us her skills.
Tammi was the one getting her nails done, so here are some pictures of the work in progress:
Tammi filing her nails

The table with the equipment

Applying and glueing on the tips

Finished! Those are some seriously long claws, aren't they?

Applying the gel...

...almost there! Now we need only one more layer of clear topcoat to add a nice finish.
Finally, here are the results:

Anki's soft pink glitter nails...

...and Tammi's wonderful pink gradation nails! Anki's a real nail artist, don't you think? It was only the second time she did the nail design and the result she achieved was absolutely amazing, it looks very professional. I'd love to get my nails done by her sometime soon!
Yesterday, we also got a wonderful present by Tammi:

Matching heart lock necklaces with lots of rhinestones and glitter! The diamond heart is a special symbol for us, so I was very touched and happy to receive this gift. Especially now when the day of my move is getting closer and closer, I feel sad when having to think about leaving my fellow circle members for some time. However, when putting on this necklace I can always carry them with me so that I will always remember that I'm a proud Diamond Cat!

For the moment, we're leaving you with this funny cat pose picture of us, but I'm sure there will be more posts and pictures soon! Hopefully you enjoyed reading this blog entry, have a wonderful rest of day and goodbye!

Second Diamond Cats meeting: Brunch in Freiburg!

Hello gals and guys,
today I want to report back from a little meeting we had today. Originally, Anki wanted to come as well, but sadly she couldn't attend so it was only me, Tammi and her best friend Yusuke who met in the city for brunch. First of all, I want to show you our outfits:
 Tammi
 Dress: DreamV
Necklace: Tally Weijl
Tights: Tally Weijl
Shoes: DreamV

Chrissy
 Scarf: Pimkie
Necklace: Bijou Brigitte
Blazer: Vera Mont
Top: Newyorker
Bracelets: Bijou Brigitte
Pants: Only
Boots: Pimkie

First, we had brunch in a nice café in Freiburg where we also decided on the name of the circle- it's a really memorable place for us! After having eaten, we walked through the city and looked through several shops since Tammi also wanted to check out the new limited make-up editions by Essence. In the afternoon, we suddenly got a craving for mochi, so we headed to Asian grocery store near the railway station and bought some.
Mochi galore- they have such a huge selection of different flavors, we had a hard time discussing which one we like best. Yusuke was nice enough to buy the mochi for us, we were really grateful for that.
I haz mochi and u haz not. Wheeeee~!!
Tammi's doing a way better job at presenting our cute snacks than I do, isn't she?
Just look at her adorable pose!
We also took some pictures while being at the station, there was a cool stairway and it had stopped raining for some minutes so we thought it would be a good opportunity to snap some photos:
When the weather worsened again, we decided to end the day with delicious sushi at our favorite sushi bar. The prices there are really fair and their selection of different sushi is amazing, you can even make requests to the chef if they don't have your favorite sushi! Also, the atmosphere at the restaurant is nice and relaxing and the staff is friendly, too.
Last but not least, here's a cute photo of Tammi and Yusuke, who bravely endured all the girls talk and make-up shopping with us today. Hopefully he'll come to more meetings in the future, it was a real pleasure to get to know him and talk to him. Maybe he'll be our first male member?

Basically that's it for the moment, I hope you enjoyed reading and watching the pictures. I hope that we'll be able to meet again soon with all of our members, because I love it when the four of us are together, spending quality time and having fun together.
Thank you very much for reading, I'm really happy that you checked out our blog!

Member introduction: Chrissy

Hey everyone, this is Chrissy speaking!
I'm very proud to be able to make my first post on the official Diamond Cats blog today, so first of all I'd like to express my gratitude to the wonderful Tammi for creating this website! So maybe you've already read the short bio I posted about myself on the members page, but here's a more detailed introduction of myself.
Well, how to start... I'm 20 years old, currently living and studying in Cologne. Originally, my hometown is the town where the Diamond Cats circle was born, but due to university I had to move away.
Next, let me tell you how I met the other girls from Diamond Cats: We originally met through a lolita meet-up on Anki's birthday- I got to know Anki already before the founding of the circle, also through my love for lolita style and mutual friends- then we started meeting more often and soon became good friends. With our growing friendship, the idea of creating a friends circle grew bigger and bigger and soon we started to make the preparations for it. Now, the dream of our own circle has finally become reality and I'm very proud to be a member of it!
Before talking to you about my style, let me show you some pictures of myself:

The pictures are sorted from the oldest to the newest, so you can see my style changes quite a lot. My first encounter with gyaru style and culture was when I first visited Japan in 2010, not knowing anything about it. However, my hostel was near Shibuya 109 so I soon got in touch with all of the fashionable girls in the area and wanted to be one of them. My first attempts at the style were mediocre and I didn't know in which direction to go, but from my current point of view I can say that I've found my way.
My favorite gal brands are Egoist, Duras, Lip Service and Murua, but I also enjoy sweet styles from LizLisa from time to time. Currently, due to my short hair, I've also gotten into Gyaru-O style, though, so I think I will stick with being a tomboy until my hair has grown back to the length it used to be. My inspiration comes from lots of different things, may it be fashion blogs, music, people in the streets or even art. That's maybe also the reason why I can't decide on a single style, haha!
To end with, I want to tell you my goals as a member of Diamond Cats: I want to stay in contact with my fellow members who are really good friends of mine, even if there is some physical distance between us right now. This means, I want to meet them as often as possible and have lots of fun with them. Also, in regards to style, I want to become better and learn more about many important things as such as make-up and hair styling.
Well, that's basically everything I have to say for now, I hope you enjoyed reading my introduction post. Please also take a look at my personal blog called Visual Attraction. I'm really pleased to meet all of you and  I hope that you will thoroughly enjoy your time while reading the Diamond Cats blog.
Have a wonderful day!

xoxo, Chrissy
